Local Executive Training

The Winnipeg Region is pleased to offer Local Executive Training, designed specifically for Local Executives within the Winnipeg Region.

This training provides Local Executives with practical information, tools, and guidance to support them in carrying out their roles and responsibilities effectively. Whether you are newly elected or an experienced Executive member, the session is an opportunity to strengthen your knowledge, ask questions, and better understand the processes and resources available to support your Local.

Training topics will include Local Capacity Grants, meeting minutes and record keeping, the roles and duties of Local Executive members, and other important information related to the effective operation of a Local.

Local Executives will also have an opportunity to ask questions directly to representatives from the MMF Chief Electoral Office and Central Registry Office, providing valuable clarification on election processes, citizenship and registration matters, and other questions relevant to Local operations.

This training is open to Winnipeg Region Local Executives only and is intended to provide a supportive space for learning, discussion, and questions. We encourage all Winnipeg Region Local Executives to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to connect, learn, and build capacity within their Locals.
